ADOPTEE HEALING ARTS RETREAT
On November 11-12, 2023 weekend, co-founders Anna Grundstrom, Heather Gittens and I offered the inaugural Adoptee Healing Arts Retreat for Transracial Adoptees! We used Body Mind Movement, Reiki and Creative Writing as a way towards healing.You can read a full recap HERE. These videos try to capture the magic that was made by coming together in community healing.
During the AHA Open Mic Reading, I had the pleasure (and pressure) to perform. In a very spur of the moment decision, I chose to read the personal essay Come to My Window. We were supposed to have a 5 min. time slot. I read for 15 minutes!

Summer 2005
When I was 28 years old, I was interviewed for the documentary Adopted The Movie by Point Made Productions. These short clips are time capsules to post coming into consciousness (aka coming out of the fog.) My interview did not make it into the documentary, but these youtube video clips have circulated and haunt me.
